Itautec Selects Innovatrics as its Biometric Technology Provider for the Brazilian and South American Market

Itautec will utilize Innovatrics proven biometric authentication and matching technologies for system integration products.

BRATISLAVA, SLOVAKIA — 5 December, 2011 — Global fingerprint technology leader Innovatrics announces that they have agreed to work with Itautec on software projects in the Brazilian and South American market that require biometric authentication and matching solutions. Itautec has selected Innovatrics as their “vendor-of-record.”

The relationship enables Itautec to utilize the whole suite of Innovatrics award-winning technologies including IDKit PC SDK (for custom software integrations) and the recently launched WebAFIS web-based enrollment and authentication platform. In addition, Itautec has access to Innovatric’s extensive knowledge around building and implementing authentication solutions. Itautec has already integrated the Innovatrics IDKit PC SDK and ANSI&ISO PC SDK into their point-of-sale (POS) terminal software for 1:1 verification and matching. Itautec expects that deployed licenses of their biometric-integrated POS software will be significant within the Brazilian and South American markets.
