This shall serve as notification and acknowledgement that the licensed and platform ported implementation of the Innovatrics fingerprint algorithm used on HID Global’s V‑Series and M‑Series fingerprint devices uses MINEX III-compliant template generator and template matcher, that are compliant with PIV client program NIST SP 800-76-2, and meet all applicable functional and performance criteria for the U.S. Government Personal Identity Verification (PIV) MINEX III compliance program.

The information listed below is from NIST’s MINEX compliance website, and is the basis for the HID Global platform port of the Innovatrics MINEX III algorithm for its fingerprint product offerings. Due to NIST MINEX III program guidelines, re-certification of branded, derived products from existing compliant products is not recommended or deemed necessary.
