Based on deep learning techniques and neural networks, Innovatrics Passive Liveness Check only needs a single photo to evaluate whether the user is alive without human supervision. It is able to detect all the common presentation attack techniques that can deceive the system in the form of a high-resolution picture, cut-out photo, or video. Together with the existing Active Liveness Check, clients can implement either both or one at a time depending on their requirements. Having both features from the same provider ensures our clients enjoy a truly frictionless customer experience.
With its ease of use, Passive Liveness Check can easily be applied in banking applications especially when assessing the security of a large financial transfer. The client receives a score which assesses the quality of liveness detection, not just a simple Yes/No response. Clients can therefore customize score thresholds according to their own security and user experience needs. It is a pivotal way to accurately authenticate a user by leveraging advanced facial recognition technology to curb identity fraud while maintaining security and convenience.
