Prior to Uganda ´s General Elections in 2016, biometric technology was implemented to validate voters at polling stations in order to increase the transparency and efficiency of the election process.

In four rounds of general elections including the presidential elections, Innovatrics’ technology facilitated the pre-processing of 15 million voter registrations and subsequently the authentication of those voters via fingerprints.
