Innovatrics Technology to be used in Panama Civil Registry

Innovatrics is pleased to have been chosen as biometric technology provider for the update and development of Panama’s Civil Registry. The registry, directed and supervised by Tribunal Electoral, is used to register births, deaths & marriages, issue certificates and record any changes in personal information. The system incorporates fingerprint and facial biometrics and currently holds records for approximately 4.5 million citizens.

Following a tendering process, a consortium of IECISA, Sertracen and Veridos, with Innovatrics acting as biometric technology provider, was chosen to replace the current provider.

The solution to be delivered will entail a 1:N joint deployment of Innovatrics’ high-speed face recognition solution, IFace and our fingerprint identification software, Innovatrics AFIS. The result for our client will be a more agile system with significantly improved performance and greater flexibility for support and maintenance.
