Innovatrics has joined its international hardware partners, LILIN and Hailo, at ISC West 2023.
With the focus on SmartFace Embedded, we were able to highlight the performance of Innovatrics face recognition technology running directly on edge devices/AI boxes (SoM) and on smart cameras (SoC).
For smart cameras, we have been cooperating with the Taiwanese HW vendor and camera maker, LILIN. At ISC West, full biometric pipeline processing was featured, including face detection, template extraction, as well as matching directly on the camera, with direct integration with our multitenant SmartFace platform. LILIN cameras use Ambarella CV22/CV25 SoCs, which are fully supported by Innovatrics for offline processing directly on the camera.
Hailo, one of our closest technology partners, is fast becoming a well-known and ambitious player in the HW accelerators game. At ISC West, we successfully showcased the processing of multiple camera streams directly on the Axiomtek RSC 101 AI box powered by the HAILO 8 chip, together with the integration with Milestone VMS.
Since expensive servers are not needed anymore to process streams for biometric operations, security and VMS vendors can expect significant savings on HW costs. The above-mentioned AI box can support the processing of up to 10 camera streams.
