Innovatrics Launches Next Generation AFIS

Designed for integrators, the solution is the fastest available on the market

Innovatrics, an independent top-ranked provider of biometric software solutions, today announces the release of its next generation of AFIS, a stack of technologies that offer an Automated Fingerprint Identification Solution that is fully scalable, multimodal, and customizable, and that can easily integrate into a customer’s existing biometrics systems.

The solution is designed for integrators and solution providers that need to provide large-scale, standard-compliant, high-performance and cost-effective biometric identification.

Being fully modular, Innovatrics AFIS allows customers to choose exactly what they need from a range of comprehensive tools and components for the enhanced administration of multi-modal biometric records.

This new approach to AFIS is especially valuable in a large project such as national ID and social security, travel and border control, elections (voter registration and verification), and registration and authentication of employees in commercial applications.

With unique algorithm, Innovatrics provides the fastest solution available on the market. AFIS harnesses the speed, accuracy and interoperability developed and proven by various global benchmark tests organized by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Innovatrics became the first fingerprint technology company worldwide to successfully pass the Minutiae Interoperability Exchange (MINEX) III continuing test organized by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

Innovatrics was the first vendor to achieve full PIV (Personal Identity Verification) compliance in MINEX III while also ranking first in most of the main accuracy and interoperability criteria. Technology contained in AFIS was also successfully tested in NIST FpVTE 2012 evaluation where it obtained outstanding result.
