Innovatrics’ Improved Minex III Fingerprint Matcher and Extractor Remain in Global Lead
After improvements to the already leading matching algorithm, Innovatrics’ new version is now firmly in the lead in ...
Read moreInnovatrics’ face-in-video identification tool is now available directly through the ABIS web application and SmartFace platform.
Innovatrics facial recognition technology provides security professionals and investigators a dedicated tool for quick analysis of single or multiple videos with facial recognition.
Innovatrics video processing can be leveraged in a wide range of investigations that involve searching for a person of interest captured in video recordings. Moreover, its Rapid Video Processing feature can process video files faster than real time.
Similarly, this built-in video processing feature of ABIS eliminates the need for manual police work when analyzing video footage in identifying unknown suspects based on biometric data. Such a capability can significantly speed up investigations together with the current set of tools that support the analysis of biometric evidence such as fingerprints, faces, DNA, and the like. Law enforcement officers can now add the quick processing of collected video evidence through Innovatrics video processing and investigation as an efficient tool in solving crimes.
Once an investigator uploads all relevant videos to a particular case, faces can be instantly detected and identified containing other additional data such as age and gender estimates. More importantly, searches can be narrowed down based on the specific age or gender of the suspect. Once the system detects or identifies the face, it takes the officer straight to the video of the person and specifies all the instances where the person appears on the said video. This can be incredibly helpful in further analyzing what transpired in that part of the video.
With the optimized video processing capabilities of Innovatrics facial recognition technology, security and law enforcement officers can quickly perform investigations using collected video footage and streamline them according to time, camera, and other preferred settings. Supporting search by image, our facial recognition technology can also detect and identify a person of interest based only on a partial image taken from a video recording.
In conjunction with human analysis and additional investigation inputs, Innovatrics face recognition technology can reliably assist security and law enforcement officers in solving crimes and maintaining public safety.
Once a system detects a security incident, as in the case of a lost child in a mall, SmartFace facial recognition platform instantly alerts the security staff to act quickly in reuniting the child with the parents. The speed and efficiency at which it processes video footage from a single camera or more are invaluable in maintaining public safety. What’s more, security staff can upload videos relating to any security incident and add descriptions that allow for a more defined face search.
The new user interface of SmartFace allows security staff to easily add tags to a video file and set parameters for a more configurable search using a probe image. The time and date when the said incident transpired can be specifically searched while results can be displayed in chronological order. It is also able to process a large number of video footage at once, which is critical in locating a person of interest.
Prior to the processing of the video, the coarse and fine grain intervals can be customized, along with other desired face settings. The system also allows the re-processing of the same video with different parameters. This feature of our Investigation Station makes face matching a lot quicker and provides more relevant results. After processing the video, the security officer can go through a list of all the detected matches of the probe image in the History view. Furthermore, a more specific search can be performed across these faces via ‘drag and drop’ or simply uploading the image.
