Designed to enhance the accuracy of SmartFace, the new Watchlist Autolearn feature boosts the capabilities of access control applications that periodically monitor people in watchlists, usually performed on a daily basis. Positive identification on our face recognition platform has seen a threefold increase in accuracy following the addition of this revolutionary feature.

Watchlist Autolearn enables SmartFace to regularly select an image from all matches of a particular individual belonging to a watchlist, where it subsequently adds the corresponding face image into the system. Over time, multiple images of the person will be accumulated on top of the original image uploaded to create a highly accurate profile. The biometric template is automatically and dynamically updated, which is instrumental in the matching process, in conjunction with the templates stemming from the uploaded original images. This ensures that SmartFace can maintain exceptional accuracy even when the individual’s face attributes gradually change.
