We currently have 300m subscribers across numerous large AFIS systems in the region, with that number looking set to grow significantly in the near future.
Stanley Tay, Innovatrics BDM for Asia Pacific explains: “Innovatrics has been successful in Asia Pacific mainly because of our loyal system integrator partners and long-term customers in this region. With strong focus and investments in improving our AFIS and biometrics solutions, Innovatrics brings value to partners and end-users with new products and outstanding performance in NIST FpVTE and FRVT evaluations.”
Innovatrics is proud to be part of the successful AADHAR program in India, which has contributed to a rise in demand for multimodal biometric solutions for government, law enforcement, and border control applications. This, combined with emerging biometric applications in FinTech, banking, and mobile verification, mean that these are indeed exciting times for Innovatrics in Asia Pacific.
A key part of our business strategy in APAC is having a strong presence on the ground and with our partners. We regularly attend international exhibitions in the region, such as the recent INTERPOL World 2017.
Tay added: “Our clear business partnership model brings assurance and confidence to both existing partners and new customers, and we will do our best to support their programs and new opportunities in this region.”
According to a report by Strategic Defense Intelligence, Asia Pacific (APAC) looks set to dethrone North America as the fastest growing biometrics market globally, with the market value set to reach $3.3 billion by 2025.
