Bogota & Montreal – our destinations in October

Innovatrics will attend the eID Conference in Bogota, Columbia, on 11 & 12 October, followed by the ICAO TRIP Symposium and Exhibition on ICAO Traveller Identification Programme (TRIP) in Montreal, Canada, from 24 – 26 October.

Now in its eighth year, eID promises visionary, exciting discussions on opportunities (and challenges) ahead for Latin and South America in building eGovernment for sustainable development, as well as current developments in eGovernment and electronic ID.

As Silver Partners of the conference, Innovatrics will exhibit and demonstrate its multimodal biometric solutions for eID, including Innovatrics AFIS and Face Recognition Solutions, which were recently used to ensure the uniqueness of 13 million ePassports in Peru, and to deliver a fully integrated biometric e-Visa system in Uganda.

Over 200 government delegates are expected to attend, along with the brightest minds in the industry. Topics on the agenda include:

• Mobile credentials, authentication, & biometrics

Following that, we’re off to ICAO Headquarters in Montreal, Canada, where the ICAO TRIP Symposium and Exhibition on ICAO Traveller Identification Programme (TRIP) will focus on a recognized need for a holistic and integrated approach to traveller identification management.

The main theme of this year’s Symposium will highlight how to secure border integrity through border control management processes, including the implementation of an Advance Passenger Information (API) system. Again, we’ll be demonstrating how Innovatrics Biometric Solutions can be used to increase border security and we’ll talk about how our solutions have been used at airports in the Americas, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

The Symposium will address the five elements of the ICAO TRIP Strategy, including machine readable travel documents (MRTDs) specifications and best practices for document issuance, identification management and related border security issues.
